WE OFFER GOLDEN GATE PARK TOURS, PRIVATE TOURS AND TEAM BUILDING EXPERIENCES

Three Private Tour Routes for 2 to 8 guests
Choose from two fun guided tour routes starting in Golden Gate Park. Our most popular is the Golden Gate Park Tour. We also offer an Advanced tour for guests that have previous Segway riding experience.
If have a group from 2 to 8 guests, we can arrange a memorable Private Segway Tour in San Francisco. Perfect for birthday parties, corporate team building, meetings, family reunions, social groups or just plain fun with your friends or family. Private Tour rates include your own personal guide, extra training staff (as needed), longer routes and staff/guide gratuities.

Included in Private Tour Package:

  • Personal tour guide for your party.
  • One on one training.
  • Extended routes and tour stops
  • 3 hours of Segway fun including extra riding and exploring time.
  • Tour at your own pace with more time for stops and photos.

Three Private Tour Routes:

1) The Wharf, Waterfront and Advanced Hill Private Segway Tour starts at or VIP Office in the heat of Fisherman’s Wharf. This extended route includes the best of our top rated Waterfront / North Beach Route and the Advanced Hills Tour in one amazing experience.

2) The Golden Gate Park Private Segway Tour  starts in Golden Gate Park.  The extended route includes the best of Golden Gate Park route plus bonus time at Stow Lake and the Music Concourse. Guests have the option of a stop at either the Conservatory of Flowers (extra cost paid admission) or Japanese Tea Garden (extra cost paid/free admission)

3) The Night Segway Private Segway Tour route is a great way to explore the city after dark. The sights include Chinatown, North Beach, Little Italy plus a stop on the Embarcadero to take in the city skyline and views of Ferry Building and Bay Bridge.

Daily Departures:
Year Round departures 10 am or 2:00 pm. Late afternoon and night VIP tours available too at our Wharf Location:

Closed December 25th and January 1st. Park location is also occasionally closed during large public events in Park.

Wharf Location:
757 Beach Street near Hyse Street in Fisherman’s Wharf San Francisco, CA 94109.
We are located at Umbrella Alley.

Golden Gate Park Location:
Guide will meet your group at 82 Hagiwara Tea Garden Drive San Francisco, CA 94118
Look for segways parked near the bike rentals in paved area directly behind the large band stage in Music Concourse. Near the Japanese Tea Garden, California Academy of Science and deYoung Museum.

Please arrive 10 minutes early to check in and start having fun.

Can Private Tours be Customized?

Can Private Tours be Customized?

Yes we can make changes in routes, stop longer at a special spot or adjust the route to the guest riding ability.  Let us know what you want to see and do.

There are parts of downtown San Francisco that are too congested for a relaxed tour experience and we suggest not touring in that area. National Parks are off limits to Segways.

Do your tours go across or to the Golden Gate Bridge?

Do your tours go across or to the Golden Gate Bridge?

This is a popular request and the answer is unfortunately no.. Segways for safety reasons are not allowed on the bridge sidewalks. The areas surrounding the bridge entrances are both National Parks – The Presidio on the South end and Golden Gate Recreation Area on the North.  Segways are not allowed in the National Parks.

We do get great views of the Bridge and San Francisco Bay from our Waterfront Tour routes.

Do you offer shorter time Private tours?

We can shorten the time slightly for Private Tours. We don’t recommend making a private tour event less that 1.5 to 2 hours. The training takes between 25-35 minutes and for guest safety cannot be shortened.  Larger groups (over 25 guests) can take a bit longer to train and we do want you to see some of the city too!
